This was the first documentary film I made, in 2001. While living just a few hundred metres from this North London bridge, known as Suicide bridge, each time I would walk across it I would see the tragic and poignant messages written there from friends of people who had killed themselves. I had the idea to give the bridge a voice, an ambiguous character that both tempts people to jump, but also regrets that they do. The film had its premiere at the East London Film Festival.
